Frank Mouris on “my life in pictures”
i had always wanted to do something artistic,
but i could not draw or paint or sculpt that well,
and while i loved photography, it didn’t move…
me. i found that photographic images cut from
magazines could make me a collage animator.
while caroline and i also made documentaries,
a romantic comedy live-action feature, tv titles
and ads, ”sesame street” animations, and music
videos, only photo collage animation truly does it
for us in our personal film experiments.
